WOW! 💡 What an inspiring start to the year! Our sixth VANTAiO Bootcamp took place from January 27-28, 2025 - and once again, numerous experts from the SAP world gathered at our headquarters in Mainz to discuss the latest developments in the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and SAP Business AI - with top-class presentations, exciting project reports and intensive networking!

But first things first. It has now become a tradition for VANTAiO to invite experts in January to discuss the latest developments from the SAP technology and developer community. All VANTAiO partner contacts, with whom we have a long-standing friendship and with whom we master the challenges of the SAP technology world together in many projects, are also present. This year, of course, the topic of AI was high on the agenda!

SAP AI – Strategy, Use Cases and Big Picture

Jonathan von Rüden (SAP) kicked off the event with his keynote speech on the SAP AI strategy. He highlighted current developments and showed practical use cases that impressively demonstrated how AI technologies are integrated into SAP applications.

Particularly in focus:

SAP Joule - Insights into the intelligent assistance solution from SAP
Practical examples of the use of AI in companies
Vision and roadmap for future SAP AI developmentli>

Participants were able to take away valuable insights and gather initial ideas for their own AI projects.

Practical report: BTP SaaS application with CAP (NodeJS)

Eik Sunke (SUCEA) then presented an exciting SaaS solution based on CAP (NodeJS), which was implemented in a real customer project at the BTP. He reported on:

Multitenancy in BTP - opportunities and challenges
Experience with the “Entity Structure Manager” tool from EY
Where SAP BTP is performing strongly - and where there is still room for improvement

A highly interesting presentation that offered valuable practical tips for developers and decision-makers!

VANTAiO iNFOHUB 3.0 - product update with new featuresp>

After the lunch break, Michael Beining (VANTAiO) presented the latest version of our VANTAiO iNFOHUB 3.0. The platform has been further developed and now offers:

New media storage for structured and flexible document management
Extended API interfaces for better integration in SAP BTP
Practical use cases and live demos

This product update makes the VANTAiO iNFOHUB even more powerful for companies that want to optimize their information and communication processes in SAP.

AI Link Assistant - Automatic event information thanks to AI

Artificial intelligence in practice: Felix Dörrschuck (VANTAiO) presented the brand new AI Link Assistant, which automatically generates event information. The SAP Core AI Services are used for this.

Live demo of the AI-supported solution

Online access form – Low-Code meets SAP BTP

Markus Rettig (Clatum) delivered another exciting project report. He presented the online access form (OZF), a solution that is already available in the BTP Store.

Key points of the presentation:

Low-code/no-code editor for digital forms
Integration with SAP Workzone Standard & Kyma runtime
Use of a Postgres database for maximum flexibility

A perfect solution for companies that want to simplify and speed up their digital processes!
