From October 15 to 17, 2024, Leipzig was transformed into the stage for the DSAG Annual Congress, the central event of the German-speaking SAP user group. Under the motto “Triad of the future: users, SAP and partners setting the pace for transformation”, the event offered a unique platform to drive innovation, share experiences and jointly develop solutions for the challenges of the SAP world. For three days, everything revolved around the latest developments in the areas of SAP Build, SAP BTP and the importance of flexibility and partnership in transformation. The exhibition halls were buzzing with inspiring discussions and a vibrant network - the perfect setting for us as the VANTAiO team to immerse ourselves in the SAP community and exchange new ideas for the future.

A glittering start in Leipzig 🎻

The DSAG Annual Congress in the musical city of Leipzig began with a bang: on the very first day, we met many familiar faces, but also many new ones. Our SAP Build and SAP BTP specialists Markus, Dominik and Stefan had the honor of signing their new specialist book - with small drawings and individual dedications, they expressed their joy about this special work. After all, you don't do something like this every day!

Our quiz raffle also attracted many interested visitors to the stand, where we were able to talk about topics relating to SAP Build & BTP and share experiences from other companies in dealing with the new technologies.

One book, one team, one mission 📚

On the second day, the concentrated expertise of VANTAiO and Rheinwerk Verlag took center stage. A book, 565 pages packed with SAP Build expertise and the result of many hours of joint work - of course this had to be celebrated! Our authors met at the publisher's stand. It was a pleasure for us to raise a glass on behalf of our other co-authors Jakob, Larissa, Christoph and many others.

In addition to the book, our quiz continued to be a magnet for SAP Build fans. All visitors had the chance to put their knowledge to the test and win one of three signed books - sponsored by Rheinwerk Verlag!

Developing solutions with the VANTAiO iNFOHUB

Day three brought the opportunity to present our SAP BTP add-on iNFOHUB in individual use cases. We delved deeper into the specific challenges of our stand visitors and developed new use cases together - from the Retail Cockpit to integration with Microsoft applications. The iNFOHUB proved to be a valuable tool for providing employees with needs-oriented access to relevant information and thus optimally supporting processes.

A highlight of the event was certainly Oliver Graeff's presentation on the SAPUI5 roadmap, in which new concepts for flexibility were presented. The topic of “Keep the core clean” proved to be an essential building block for the transformation, and it was fascinating to see how the entire SAP ecosystem is pursuing this approach.

After three intensive days in Leipzig, we return with valuable insights and numerous new contacts. The DSAG Annual Congress 2024 was an ideal platform for us to network with users and partners and gather valuable input for the further development of our own solutions.
